    For the time being, Johnny Tombthrasher has joined Faustcoven to do drums for the next record. Being a great fan of his band Ghoul Cult, I am very pleased to get the chance to work with him again (he has previously recorded a track to be released on a 7'' on Cryptia Productions sometime soon). Living far apart in Norway, the recording and writing process will require a bit of experimentation and time, but I have every confidence that it will help make a record that will be a worthy and improved successor to "The Halo of Burning Wings". Maximal heaviness is the aim! Some titles that are being worked on include "Where Gods Come to Die", "Winged Messenger of Doom" and "Throne of Bones".

    FAUSTCOVEN NEW ALBUM IS HERE !!!
    Faustcoven's debut "The Halo of Burning Wings" has just been released by Barbarian Wrath (http://www.barbarianwrath.org), anyone with an interest in the band should order a copy throught the record label. The prices are cheap (only 9 euro before newyears-eve, 11 after), and the service is very reliable. Check out some of the other great bands at the same time through the samples-section. The cd is limited to 666 handnumbered copies, and contain 10 tracks of heavy black metal of the old style.

    14/11-2002: Two new tracks ready for download. Go to the samples section and download "Under the Pagan Hammer" and "Phantom Sun"! There will soon be another update.

    2/9-2002: Back from a 2 week vacation in Greece! Added a new review by Hartmuth (Black Goat) from the Metal Gospel/Barbarian Wrath (damnit, Hartmuth, I was in my last year of kindergarten when Venom released Black Metal, not when the norwegian scene started, :P ). Soon I will start recording the next demo.

    13/8-2002: Updated the links-section. Would you believe I even forgot my other band, Obumbrata (Death/Thrash/Black/Doom) when I first made this page? That has now been rectified. Go to the links page and check us out!

    12/8-2002: A new sample is up! Listen to Blasphemer's Eulogy at the samples page. Also added a new, great review from Lord Vic of Eternal Frost! I will also be doing guest vocals for Black Moon Rising on the track Built to Burn on a seriously limited split-cd.

    8/8-2002: Added a new section, "Reviews". Just one review up for now, coutresy of Ultra Boris from the metal-archives, but more to come.

    6/8-2002: Welcome to the new webpage of Faustcoven. I've tried to make this page a bit more informative. I will try my best to keep you updated on what's happening with the band, and update regularly. Currently I'm working on the next demo which is to be entiteled "March of Cloven Hoofs", and I aim for an october release.
